E-Kanban sensor module for optimizing material provision
With “SEKAN”, KBS Industrieelektronik has developed an E-Kanban system for automatic material replenishment control.
Using modern sensor technology, container fill levels in the E-Kanban rack are continuously monitored and replenishment requests are automatically reported to the ERP system. This real-time communication ensures that material bottlenecks are avoided and the production flow can be maintained. Human errors that occur during manual stock monitoring and reordering are eliminated with electronic replenishment control. Thanks to automated replenishment control, the E-Kanban system ensures a continuous supply of materials at mounting and production stations.
The system can be integrated into existing ERP/production planning systems and commercially available flow racks.
